When trying to modify the design of a select query I am
getting the "Microsoft Access has encountered a problem
and needs to close" message. This is a select query based
on a single table. The table is fairly large, and there
are several IF tests in the query, but the database itself
is not large enough to cause a problem.
The error is happening on a workstation (PIII - 866 MH)
running WinXP Pro, SP1 and Access 2002, but the error also
appears when I try running the query on our server (P4 -
2.8 GH and plenty of memory). I tried doing a compact and
repair on the database, to no effect. Any ideas?
