Error when starting a scan

I get the message "Windows Defend encountered and error: 0x80004003. Invalid
pointer" on my machine when I press start scan.

Is that common ?
 
See the place where it says "Search For:" at the top of this page? Try
typing 0x80004003 in there and then hit the GO button...
Is it common?... Yes, it is very common.
 
This is a bug. See Plun's message in .announcements about a new build
available--it is possible this is among the fixes.
