Each time I quit Outlook 2003 I get an error report
prompt. This is despite having Error Reporting turned off.
The Error signature reads:-
AppName outlook.exe Appver: 11.0.5207.5 AppStamp:
3ea0af8d ModName: wzoutlok.dll ModVer:
18.0.5483.0 ModStamp: 3ead4d69 fDebug: 0 Offset:
0001337a
I have read related articles, but they all seem to refer
to WinFax, which I do not have. I have tried the repair
option from Add\Remove Programmes.
The Office 2003 installation was an upgrade over Office
XP.
Can anyone please help?

See if you don't use any incompatible add-ons for Outlook 2003. Go to
Tools-> Options-> tab Other-> button Advanced Options...-> button Add in
Manager to disable them

Try recreating the mailprofile. There are some issues with the profiles
after an upgrade. Also see if it happen when you start Outlook via Start->
Run with the /safe command line switch. If not; you might want to try a
repair of Office.

Thanks again Roady for your concern, I recreated all mail
profiles, and tried a repair. I have also tried opening
the programme a number of different ways. I also
completely uninstalled Office XP and 2003, then
reinstalled just the 2003 programme. Still no luck.

I don't have OL2003 (still using OL2002). Is wzoutlok.dll part of
OL2003? If not, when you do a search for it, where is this file (i.e.,
its path)? When you right-click on it and look at the Version tab for
its properties, who makes it and does the product name indicate its
function? Did you have a prior version of Outlook that included the
Winfax Lite product and then upgrade to OL2003 (which means some Winfax
files may be present with some registry keys to indicate its integration
into Outlook)? I'm not sure where you found that wzoutlok.dll indicates
Winfax. My Google Groups search indicates it is part of Winzip's
**BETA** plug-in for Outlook to zip up attachments. Is there a wzoutlok
file under the WinZip install path, or maybe under the %windir% path?

Thanks Vanguard.....The file wzoutlok.dll was contained
in WinZip. By uninstalling the WinZip Attachment for
Outlook from Add\Remove programmes the problem is now
cured.
Many thanks to you and Roady for your help.

The mail integration of WinZIP...

Good to hear your problem is solved! :-)
