error when printing: resolution not supported (XEROX Phaser 8200DP)

I had to recreate the print queues on Windows 2000 Servers for a
phaser 8200DP Xerox printer. When trying to print a document from
Access, I get the error resolution not supported. Other documents,
including graphics work fine.

Is it trying to print at the High Resolution option? I have an 8200N and
the printer driver has options for higher resolution which are disabled
but maybe Access is trying to print at the top level which you printer
might not have available. Under print properties setup I have Fast
Color, Standard, Enhanced and High-Resolution/Photo, the last is not
available.

When I bought the printer they gave me a sample from a machine capable
of the higher resolution and I couldn't tell the difference.
