i'm receiving this error script everytime i try to log in my windows
"you are using a non-standard version of Win NT. Contact your LAN
administrator to be upgraded". error comes from c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe

other xp station in my network does not experience this, what should i do?

thanks.

Look in the system and application logs via Event Viewer to see if anything
there is reported that may provide a clue. I would also run System File
Checker as in SFC /scannow to make sure that the system files are authentic
and not corrupt. It would also be a good idea to run a full scan for
malware. --- Steve
