Error when amending contacts

Hi,

I get the folowing error message when amending any contact uinfo:

WerFault.exe - Application Error
The exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in l , the
application at location 0x7742b09e.

Any help in rectifying the problem would be very much appreciated

And your antivirus program is...?

Make sure you are not running a non-compatible antivirus program
like Norton or McAfee. Those should be uninstalled and replaced
with a compatible antivirus like the free version of Avast:

I am running NOD32 which is fully vista compatible

Did this problem start after July 10th?
Some have reported here that the problem with Contacts
went away after uninstalling a recent Windows Update:
KB933928.

Hi,

I tried uninstalling update KB933928 but the problem persists. Any other
ideas?

As you may have realized by now, Windows Mail has quite a few bugs.
I recommend you upgrade to Windows Live Mail, which Microsoft
has promoted as the replacement for Windows Mail:
