Whe I go into a User Profile through Active Directory and
try to create a UNC entry for a Home Folder, I get an
Error Message that says "The home folder could not be
created because: Unspecified error". When you click
the "OK" button the error message closes. If you
click "ok" again in a second attempt to create a Home
Folder another error comes up that says "The home folder
already exists. Do you want this user to be granted full
control of this folder?" Then it goes on to say a couple
of things about troubleshooting home folder permissions.
Has anyone seen this befor? It's created the Home
Folders but it's acting like it couldn't because of an
error.

Hello,

Are you using Windows 2003? Are you using the RC2 version of the AD Users
and Computers snap-in for Windows 2003?

This error message will occur if this is the case.

If so, you should upgrade your admin tools to the latest version that came
with the Windows 2003 system?
