Error using embedded excel chart.

I'm getting a weird error using an embedded excel chart in PP 2000.
When I'm in PP and looking at the chart, it has data in it. When I
right mouse click on the chart and do a Chart Object-Open, the data
disappears. When I close excel to go back to PP the data is still
gone. If I close PP wiothout saving and reopen, the data reappears!

Any ideas?

Do you have any antivirus programs running? Does the problem resolve if
you turn it off? (Just as a test.)

Do you have a bunch of other stuff running in the background? If you
close all those other applications and reboot, does the problem still
occur?

Try clearing out your temporary internet files folder and deleting any
*.TMP files on your harddrive. Run a scandisk and defrag.

Try changing hardware acceleration.

drivers and make sure you have the latest version of Direct X installed
if the hardware acceleration thing doesn't do the trick.

Never mind, I figured it out. I was updating the chart with VBA and
removed a critical statement of code.
