Running XP Home Ed. Recently uploaded large (1-2MB JPG
image files to two different sites, one US, one NZ. No
problem. Last few days...error above 1MB. Same to either
site. Same from either of two image processing software
programs (Photoshop & PictureWindowPro). Different error
display, but same error on either IE6 or Mozila 1.5. This
process worked and now errors unless image is less than
1MB...then no problem at all. I know process is
different, http vs ftp, but just tried to upload 70MB PSD
image file to ftp server and no problem. What could have
changed in XP to suddenly and precisely limit upload of
the JPG image files to less than 1MB?

Help!!!

I really don't know. First thing I would try is disk cleanup to get rid of
all temporary files.

That sounds like an ISP imposed limit. If you can FTP these image files to
the same FTP server you sent the PSD file, you might want to consider
checking with your ISP to se if he's recently imposed new limits on HTTP
traffic of the sort you're attempting. Such limits are becoming very common
in the email world.
