I am using Outlook Express 6.0 (with O/S Windows XP Pro).
I did not see a newsgroup on Outlook Express so I thought I will try this
newsgroup.
On one of my computers, I am unable to go to my Local folders - Inbox,
Outbox, Sent Items etc. or the newsgroup folders.
I get the error message: Error Type 403 Access Forbidden?
I tried using View, Go To Folders. The message box pos up and when I select
any of the local/newsgroup folders, it comes back with the same error
message!
I have been using it for many years right up to yesterday without any
problem but suddenly today I got the message.
I browsed the Knowledge Base for Windows XP and found an article on Error
403 - but that is all in connection with Windows update. Anyway I tried the
solutions mentioned in the article but the problem still persists
