Error trying to import a delimited text file

I am trying to import a large delimited text file and I keep getting the
error message "An error occurred trying to save import/export specification
'ST26 Import Specification.'

Any idea what could be wrong?

I cannot link to the text file either.

I don't know that specific error, but import problems are often caused when the
data in one or more fields does not match the datatype specified in the
destination table. Like a text string in a position defined as a date field,
for example. There is usually a table created for import errors that would
give you a clue.
