I have one windows 2000 domain controller with few
workstations. The problem is that i cannot add user or
group of domian to any folder from any workstation.
Whenever i pree add it says "Cannot display objects from
this location becauase of the following error: The server
is not operational". I can join computers on the domain
but cannot access active direcotry objects from the
workstations. I works fine on Domain Controller. Can any
one tell whats the problem is? and whats the right
solution of this problem.

Make sure that the DC Dns settings are point to itself and that all
workstations are pointing the the DC. For internet access create a
forwarder in the DNS management console to the ipaddress of your ISP's dns
server.
