Using Outlook 2000 connecting to a Exchange 5.5 server.

I have a personal folder where my email resides. I use
the Calendar that resides on my server mailbox to schedule
appointments and tasks. My problem is that I can not use
the reminder feature for those appointments and tasks.

When I check the Reminder box and set to 15 mins. I set
the sound to a file that I have. When I choose the
box "Save and Close", I get the following error:
The reminder for "IS Conference Call" will not appear
because the item is not in your Calendar or Tasks folder.
Is this OK?

I can click on the server folders - TASKS or CALENDAR and
I see my tasks and appointments. I just can not set a
reminder for them.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.
Ben

Your reminders will only fire from folders in your default mail store
(where you get mail delivered). If you are using Exchange you
shouldn't be using a PST file to get mail delivered, PST = BAD when
using Exchange.
