I am receiving the following error:
There are multiple accounts with name
MSSQLSvc/SERVERNAME
OMAINNAME:1433 of type 10
I used this command:
ldifde -m -f OUTPUT.LDF
in order to export a portion of AD and did I indeed find
two entries for the account referenced in the event log
error.
servicePrincipalName: MSSQLSvc/abcd1.def.com:1433
The question is how do I know which one to delete and
what is the correct syntax I should use in the .ldf file
for import and also the correct command. I can't simply
import back this file after making the deletion or could
I? I tried using ldp and it was futile even though I
tried searching for the entrie with multiple types of
search methods that I found from various different posts
on the internet.
This was what ldifde had two listings of:
servicePrincipalName: MSSQLSvc/abcd1.def.com:1433
