Error: "Socket is not connected"

I do have Windows 2000 profesional and have installed a
Lightning download utility and when ever i want to use it
in downloading it gives me the current Error "Socket is
not connected"

If anyone knows how to fix this issue it will be great. By
the way i do not use any proxies

You may want to check with the vendor of the utility for the answer to
that question.
