#error showing up in text boxes

Here's the situation: I have several forms with lots of text boxes that
show calculated results from various queries. These forms have worked fine
until recently when I updated my XP OS with Microsoft's various patches; the
problem now is that the boxes work fine unless I leave the form to view a
query (in datasheet form). If I do that, the text boxes display "#error",
and I have to close and reopen the form to reset... what gives?

(BTW, these forms still work on my colleagues PCs)

Apparently I'm not the only one experiencing this. The forms work and
update fine on several computers, except, of course, the one that matters.
