When I try to launch Yahoo music through Internet explorer I get the
following error message:

Internet Explorer Script Error

An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Line: 43
Char: 1
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code: 0
URL:
http://radio.launch.yahoo.com/radio...iid=1&p=4&m=314097&d=0&ltw=LaunchRadioTarget&

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

If I click no the page stops loading. If I click yes then I get the same
error message after about 2 minutes. Can anyone help me figure out what to do
to solve this? Thank you.

Hi Simkus,
Do you have the latest Java Installed on your system, if not try to install
the latest Java Version ( it may now 7) from here:
http://www.sun.com/
and Install it.
If no joy, well you need also Shockwave installed to run Yahoo Media Player.
Hope this helps

I am current on both of these items. I have also updated my windows media
player, my directX, yahoo messenger (just in case), and everythign else that
I can think of, with no luck.

Hi Simkus,
Is your system is clean from Malware/Viruses, if you are not sure try Scan.
For tools if don't have Up to Date AV and Anti-Adware go here:
http://www.avast.com/
http://www.lavasoftusa.com
if no joy and your system is clean try this:
Go to your IE Properties and Click on the Advanced Tab and Uncheck the
following:
Under Browsing Option Uncheck this:
[ ]Display a notification about every Script error.

Clcik on the Security Tab and while Internet is Selected or (Highlited)
click Customs Level and in the Security Settings Enable the Following:
Under Scripting
Active Scripting
*Enable
Scripting of Java Applet
Enable
Click on the OK and Close then Reboot your Machine and go to the Player and
see if the issue solved.
Hope this helps

All the suggestions you made with Internet Explorer where already like you
stated to put them. I have run (and rerun) Ad-Aware, Spybot, Norton, Spy
Sweeper, Avast, and ewido. The found different items and removed them. The
problem still exists though, which is beginning to frustrate me. do I need to
remove and reinstall internet explorer to get it to work again? I don't use
it except for yahoo music, which does not support Firefox, which I use for
everything else. I have had some problems with Firefox as well though. I
tried to listen to a radio broadcast on firefox and it did not run it.

Hi Simkus,
Try to Disable all Add-Ons for Firefox for now, you will bring it up later
when you know and isolate the cause of your Problem.
In the IE Propertise Go to the Programs Tab and Navigate to Manage Add-Ons
and Disable all Non-MS Add_Ons, then Be sure that the Option for IE to check
Whether is the Default is Checked and click Ok and close then Reboot and try.
If all Okay try to Enable the Add-Ons One -By -One and see which one will
cause the problem and Disable it.

If no Joy try to Repair IE from the Add/Remove Option in the Control Panel
and instead of selecting Uninstall select Repair.
Hope this Helps

I disabled all the add-ons in both. WHen I tried to use the music pages I got
2 errors. One was the same as I have been getting, the other said that I
needed to have an add-on enabled for the program to work. I then went through
each add-on one at a time and found the one that I needed to have enabled to
remove the second error message, but was unable to get rid of the first error
message.

As for repairing IE, when I go to the Add/Remove option IE is not listed. I
go to Add/Remove Windows Components to find IE, but it does not have a repair
button.

I tried those things without success. However, I decided that since most of
the problems I were having were media related that I would uninstall Windows
Media and reinstall it. I removed all the updates on it and then uninstalled
it. When I went to the site to download it I noticed that it wanted to
download version 11 Beta instead of V.10. I downloaded v.10 and after
installing it everything worked fine. I think that at some point V.11beta was
installed on this computer and that is why nothing was working. Thank you for
all of your help.
