Error Report while online

I keep getting the following: "Generic Host Process for
Win32 has encounterd a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for any inconvenience." This began occuring
shortly after downloading a MS update # KB823980. I
generally get online for about 10 to 15 minutes before
this message appears and disconnects my server. I am in
Saudi Arabia and would like to find a fix to this problem.

sounds very much like you have got the 'sasser'virus on your pc.i had exactly the same problem. has infected millions world-wide.your anti-virus up to date
you need to go get a removal tool fro
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.sasser.removal.tool.htm
run this through your machine-should clear it and you'll be ok
