Hello,

I have windows 2000 Professional installed and run internet explorer 6.
Everytime I connect to a secure banking site I am able to open the first few
pages then the error report tool appears "Microsoft Internet Explorer has
encountered a problem and must close".

I have checked the application events for this problem in Adminstrative
tools and they state the following information:

1. Event ID 1000
6.0.2800.1106,qawjktq.dll,1.0.0.1,0000d697 or

2. Event ID 1000
6.0.2800.1106,flash.ocx,6.0.47.0,0001c20c

Thank you for your help

Michelle

the removal of these bad guys. Post your files to the forum mentioned on
the above page.

If you cannot access the page to download HijackThis, use this link:

If you find you need CoolWebSearch Shredder, use this link:

(Get a fresh copy of CWS Shredder before each use. It's updated
frequently.)

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on do both once-a-day.
