When browsing the web an error window will pop up and tell
me that the explorer has produced a error and that the
explorer will be shut down, (this window also has a check
box for if you want the explorer to restart) and a choice
if you want the error report sent to mirosoft or not. The
error report has way to much on it to list.

As has been answered many may times before.
http://securityadmin.info/noframes/faqget.asp#stop

Browser hijacking parasites cause this:
http://217.115.153.73/parasite/ notice how many parasites there are.

Get these:
Ad-aware home: http://www.lavasoftusa.com
SpyBot available from
http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/ and update the reference files
through their Online update function. Run them and select all items and
remove.
You may have to reboot and rerun a couple of times to completely remove
them.
Also run the Immunize function to
prevent these nasties from installing again.

Get SpywareBlaster to stop these nasties.
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
Update the reference file through the online update function.

I am getting this all the time. I click on some link or
another (one being the link to download a new copy of IE
6!) and I get a dialog box that asks me if I want to send
an "error report" to Microsoft about a problem
with "urlmon.dll". The current window then recycles.

It is a huge pain.. I have found references to a security
problem - some kind of HTML stack overflow - at
annoyances.com, but when I try to download the patch from
Microsoft, I get the bug.

I tried running spybot and it found all kinds of stuff,
but didn't fix the problem.

Help!

Dave
