error report ids

Could anyone help to let me find out how to solve the
following,Error 1311 "source file not found & Error 1603
which shows when i am trying to download Finepix veiwer
from cdrom, op system xp pro, program has downloaded
before with no problem on other pc with windows xp home op
system.
Error 1603 tells me to consult windows installer Help
(msi.chm) or msdn for more information! I don't have a
clue has anyone els. Thanks John.

I had an 1311 error here just days ago when installing Adobe Reader
6.0.1. It turned out that something was wrong with the older version I
installed. I removed this software manually by deleting the files from
the HDD and all references to the program from the Registry.
Afterwards all was well.
