To anyone who can help,
can anyone tell me how to fix this,
the application c:\Programfiles\Hewlett- Packard\digital imaging\bin hp oevm
08, exe, generated was c0000005 @address 77f 5852f (nt dll rtl allocate
heap) Ive tried uninstalling everything. I think it might be a problem with
my hp instalation disk, an error message appears even before ive installed
the printer.

Anyone that can help please Colin.

If this a multi-purpose printer? The message is referring to components for
digital scanning. If the scanner is a separate device, you may want to try
uninstalling its software, install the printer, then install the scanner
again.

Disconnect the device(s) and remove from Device Manager and from the
Printer and Fax.

Uninstall the software. After uninstalling the software (multipurpose
printer or printer and scanner), log off and then log on again. Then check
in Program Files for the "digital imaging" folder and remove it. Also check
in Documents and Settings\<your account>\Local Settings\Temp and delete any
files that are there. Local Settings is a hidden folder so you will also
need to use Control Panel> Folder Options> View to show hidden files and
folders.

Next install the printer and then the scanner. If these are USB device
follow the directions carefully. Usually the software is installed first.
The system shutdown or restarted. Then the devices are attached. Most HP
setup programs will tell you exactly when to connect them. If they do not,
check the directions that came with the devices or check for install
directions at the HP site.

I have had the same problem with my HP psc 2510 all-in-one. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, downloaded the newest software from HP, talked to HP support numerous times and I still get this error message: C:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\upload\hpqPhUnl.exe is not a valid Win32 application. the printer and copier are the only features that work.
I have also downloaded all recommended Windows Updates. Any other ideas?
Lucy
