Hello,
I'm trying to install a s/w "ZoomText Xtra Level 1 7.0" (Text enlargment
program for Windows) for a staff person who is blind on a PC machine running
XP Home ed. Installation causes problem that generates the error report:
AppName: _ins5176._mp AppVer: 5.14.157.0 ModName: suutils.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0001c378
I did a search on Microsoft.com of the filename "suutil.dll" and found
results that it is a part of Win95_11.cab. ( btw, filename "suutils.dll"
gets no result.) This machine has Office 95, but no system file "suutil.dll"
or "suutils.dll".
I simply want to be able to allow my disable friend to be able to see text
well and do his work comfortably. Any suggestions?

This product is from Ai Squared. Their knowledge base has an article
showing a matrix of what versions are supported in each version of Windows.
For Windows XP, they are showing version 8 and up:
http://www.aisquared.com/support/KBdetail.cfm?ID=35

The program should be updated to a newer version for it to work properly in
XP. However there is something that you could try first: running the
program with "compatibility mode." Since you're stuck at the installation
part, create a shortcut to the setup.exe file. Go into properties for the
shortcut and on the Compability page select one of the operating systems
that 7.00 is supposed to work with. Then try running setup.

If the setup completes, you may need to repeat these steps for the
program's shortcut as well.

Here's the URL for the aisquared.com knowledge base in case the are more
things you want to look up about this program:

For additional resources and possible suggestions for alternative
