error: - reminder won't appear

I just made an appointment for Wed Nov 11, 2003 at 5:00 P.M. with a reminder
for 15 minutes, "show time as:" = OUT OF OFFICE and "Label:" = Personal

when I hit save and close - which I do this ALL the time, and never have
problems - I get a message saying "The reminder for 'Meet Jessica' will not
appear because the item is not in your calendar or tasks folder. Is this
OK?"

Then I'm supposed to pick "yes" or "no"

why would I ever pick "NO" when the whole reason I made this and use this
application is so I CAN be reminded, otherwise I will forget...

any help much appreciated
 
It sounds like you are making an appointment in a
Calendar folder that is not your default system calendar.

Have you created a second calendar or using one in
a PST?

Reminders will only work on your system folders...
