error reading setup initialization file

I get the above error message in a box, with the only
choice to click okay?
I have removed old version and tried several times, to
reinstall but continue to get this same error message,
HELP

One possibility is that the downloaded installer file is corrupt. Please
try emptying your Temporary Internet Files, and then download a fresh copy
of the installer by following the download links from
http://www.microsoft.com/spyware/

Then try running the new installer.
 
I had the same problem. Tried to empty my Temporary
Internet Files folder and download it again, I got the
same error. But I had no problem when I was trying to
install it on another computer.

Any idea? Thanks.
