this morning Ie would never start. It kept trying and retrying to access incedifind. I used a spyware product to remove this. Now I get the error "page cannot be displayed" message no matter what web site I try to get to. I know the web is working because netscape is haing no problems

I contacted the computer vender and tried to remove and reinstall ie and I get the same results. I then downloaded the latest release and had to follow the microsoft directions to update the registry to get by the newer version already installed message. But, then I get a "windows logo testing" error message. I noticed that the "no liability accesed" certificate expired on 1/7/2004 so this maybe the problem with this reinstall. What can I do?

did you try downloading ie6.0 and reinstalling it?
