Hi

I installed office 2003 professional one week ago.
evrything was fine until yesterday when I could not get
email anymore neither incoming nor outgoing. Internet
acces is OK though. No change in hardware. POP3 server,
high speed internet, win 2000 professional. error message:
<<(0x80040154), error>> or ''(0x8004210B) delay server
delay too short>>
I see 2 possibilities:
1. I uninstalled explorer 6 service pack 1 sinced It was
bogging every minute
2. I activated professional contacts manager and may have
made a mistake. Could it be a conflict with a driver
looking for an exchange server?

Do you use a virusscanner that integrates with Outlook? Disable the
incoming/outgoing virusscan and see if it still happen; the on access
scanner will sufice

Sorry for multiple posting, I did not know where to post.

I did desactivate Norton for email check yesterday and it
didn't solve my problem.

It looks pretty similar to what I'm getting. It is
intenfed for Office XP/2002 though, Any potential issue
with office 2003?
Also the hotfix seems to be included in an updated (sp)
for XP, any recommandation before I try anything?
Thanks for helping
Daniel
