Error opening Windows update

Hi,
On a NT PC with IE 6 sp1 when opening Windows update
(http://v3.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/) I get the error
below. But if I put a "s" in url it goes fine.


Action canceled
Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you
requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable.

I think that the link has changed to:
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp

Check for a file named HOSTS with no extension (not Hosts.sam). It may be a
hidden file. Open it with Notepad and remove any line referencing the site.
Or, rename HOSTS to OLDHOSTS
