Error opening story

If I click on Play Existing Stories from Media Library I
get a Dialog Box with no message, a big red X and and OK
button. I am unable to play the photo stories I created in
this application. I uninstalled and reinstalled.

Any ideas?

Try this...go to....My Documents / My Videos...
can you open your PhotoStories with the .wmv
extension from there?

Is it possible that you deleted them or moved
them to a different location?

Try doing a search for *.wmv and maybe you
can find them.

If you haven't done any maintenance recently
it may help to run DiskCleanup (all options)...
Start / Programs / Accessories / System /
DiskCleanup...

I can locate the wmv files. I can even play them in Media
Player. What I cannot do is open them in Photo Story.

PhotoStory will not reopen a completed file.

If you download and install the PhotoStory2 update it
adds the option to re-edit a previously completed Story.
(the story must be created in PhotoStory2 though)
