I've just started receiving this message all of a sudden:

The add-in "C:\WINDOWS\System32|MociExt.dll" could not be installed or
laoded. This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help
munu. Unable to load "C:\WINDOWS\System32\MociExt.dll". You may be out of
memory, out of system resources, or missing a .dll file.

The only major change I've made recently is to set up my Palm m125 to sync
to my Outlook instead of its own program.

After looking for answers to this issue online (surprisingly nothing is
posted here in the MS groups), I have established that it probably has
something to do with the Max Sync add-in, and that I should disable (uncheck)
it.

What I'm most confused about it is: what is this add-in and how did it get
there? I didn't add it, as far as I know. What does it do? I'd rather not
de-select it until I know more about it. Can anyone help?

I don't know what that DLL is for, but you could probably learn more by
doing a google search on the filename. As far as debugging why you're
getting that message, did you check to see if that DLL is present on your
system in that location?

I did a Google search - that's how I learned about Max Sync being connected
to this problem. I'm still hoping to learn what Max Sync is, and why it has
installed itself. Thanx.
