Windows XP Error Opening Key

I am installing a HP printer to Windows XP. HP Photosmart C5280. And during installation, it stops n says

"Error situation code: 04870908
Could not open key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run"

Im the only person who uses this computer, so i have adminstration rights, so no restriction that i know of...

Could someone help if they know how to fix or have had the problem n got help..

Have you tried manually installing the printer through the control panel, or is this using the installation CD provided by HP?
