Error Opening IE 6

Each time I open IE I get an error box "An Error has
occurred in Internet Explorer, Internet Explorer will now
close. If you continue to experience problems, please
restart your computer (OK)" This has just recently
started and I have not made any changes to my system.

Hi,
From Control Panel> Internet Options> Advanced> uncheck "Enable third party
browser extensions." If that allows IE to open, another program is causing
the problem- probably an adware, spyware, parasite program.

Work through the solutions (CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot) at

You should re-enable browser extensions after the cleanup.
