Dave

I am running a Domain on a Windows Server 2003. I know thisis a 2000
newsgroup but I seen a similar problem on the internet for 2000.

I am logged in as administrator (member of Administrators, Enterprise
Admins, Domain Admins) that has full rights to everything on the domain we
cannot access group policys for any OU.

When I select "Properties" for an OU and then select the "Group Policy" tab,
I get the following error: "Group Policy Error" "You dont have permission to
perform this operation." "Details; Access is denied" 'Close' .

I get the very same error message when trying to access the "Domain
Controller Security Policy" and "Domain Security Policy" in Administrative
Tools.

Any help would be REALLY appreciated!!!!!!!!!

I had to use the Recovery Console with the W2k server CD....
had the same problem...i just did the Repair OS option...
it resets a few application programs, but nothing i couldnt fix overnight...
maybe that helps...

Thanks for the reply,
It didn't mess up your Active Directory? I have 600 users, so I would hate
to have to recreate my whole AD.

Logon with the administrator account (not an administrator account) and see
if that works, if it does then you have a permissions error somewhere.
