#Error on reports

I created an Access 2000 database intended for a couple of
people in my office. I have version 9.0.2720 installed on
my PC. They have version 9.0.3821 SR-1 on theirs.
Several reports which run perfectly fine on my PC show
#Error in fields in which I use basic standard functions,
e.g., trim([somefield]). Any clue about what could be
causing the difficulty? Is there some problem with their
release? Is there some option setting which is not set
properly? Thanks for the help....
