Error on exit

When we exit ie 6.0 sp2 it just sits there. We then use end task and we get
the error report. Then we cannot open ie again without restarting XP sp2.
It used to work fine on this one year or so old dell notebook. Not sure of
the events before this error started to occur. It could have been an upgrade
to norton but cannot recall all that was done since this occured.
