There's a couple of questions I would ask, by way of
reply (doesn't everyone:))

Do you have administrative priveliges on your pc? If it's
yours, you should have; if it's at work, you mostly
likely don't, as only a few people get that access in
order to reduce mishaps.

Is the file on your PC's actual hard drive, or is it in
fact on another PC (such as in a home or office network
PC) that you are connected to?

The reason I ask is that the only time I can think of
having seen this error is where I go to look at a hard
drive on another PC; windows lets you, because it has
a "cache" of what you were last looking at on that
network "shared" drive. However, try and actually DO
anything with the file in question, and Windows tells you
it can't find the file you are so clearly already looking
at!

Check the drives name. It should have look like "C:\"
or "X:\". If it's a network Shared drive, it will also
have a name like "name" on "serverorpc".

Another tip is just to click teh View menu and "Refresh";
maybe the file was a temporary one and has already gone!

I hope I helped,
