I converted a file from MS-Access 97 to XP. The
conversion was successful but only 1 or 2 reports did not
work properly.
When I open the report under MS-Access XP, in preview
mode, the first page opens fine, but when I goto the 2nd
page, I get the error "No current record".
After making very extensive tracing and trouble shooting,
I noticed that the following will cause the error to come
if all of the following is true:
1. If the report is based on a query with join of 2 or
more tables,
2. If you place the fields on the report from more than
one of the joined tables.
3. If you create 3 or more group levels (in Sorting and
Grouping).
4. If the report "Detail" section has more than 16 fields.
If some one can help, I will appreciate it. I can send a
sample of the MDB file with all the tables and report
desing causing the problem.
Thank you.
