Error MSN 6

I am operating from XP home and when I tried logging in to MSN it "is unable
to log in" When trying to see if there are any updates through internet
explorer I am getting an Error Code:0x800800001

Can anyone tell me how to get back my MSN?

I would contact MSN support for this or post this in a more proper
newsgroup. Also check the error number, it does not seem to be a valid
hex number.
