I just upgraded my Sony Via labtop to WinXP. (Previously,
It had Win98 installed, I just selected "Upgrade" option,
not a fresh install)

Although, everything looked to function perfectly at the
begining, when I try to connect to the Internet via Dial-
up, and open IE, I am having an error message that states
Windows will automatically shotdown in 60 seconds and
there is nothing you can to about it, it really shotdowns
after 60 seconds.

What are your opinions, has anyone encountered that kind
of problem and error message? Do you think that this can
be a kind of virus, or something about the XP? I'll be
gratefull if someone shares his/her opinions.

Thanks,

Gur

It's probably Blaster worm... Get yourself a viruskiller and maybe
firewall and keep your windows updated.
