error messages

I asked about the error message mshtml.dll on 1/4 and it was suggested that I go to Start , Run, command, the n type in regsvr32. I did, and now I get the error message msc42.dll. I must be doing something wrong. If you can help me, I have to tell you that I'm a REAL novice at this, and have trouble understanding many technical terms. Sometimes I even have trouble following directions!
