Hello, I am not very computer savy, and I keep having error messages come up
when I log on my computer. First I get "Application failed to start
becauseMSVCR80.DLL was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the
problem." Then I get" RUNDLL Error loading DOCEOC16B1. The specific module
could not be found." there are several of these RUNDLL errors the last one
being,"Error loading c:\WINDOWS\system32\stlbdist.DLL.
Help. I don't want these error messages, but more importantly, I want to
know what they mean.
After I click OK on all of them, then I seem to be able to do what I need to
do. But I still want to know why they are there.
Thanks
Cathy

Hi, Cathy. If you have you Xp disk, try this. Click the start button, go
to RUN and type this in exactly..better yet, copy and paste,
sfc /scannow

This will replace or repair damaged dll's. You may be asked for the cd at
some point.
If you get a message that says something like you are using the wrong Xp
disk..can't remember exactly what it says, post back.

Hi Cathy, I also had an error about that particular DLL in one of my applications, so
I solved my problem by installing:-

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...EE-A3F9-4C13-9C99-220B62A191EE&displaylang=en

Hope it works for you.
