error message

Lately several of the sites I've tried to open give me the message "error on
page." Can't find out what the error is or how to correct it. Using Windows
XP, IE 6, Outlook Express.

Can you possibly describe you arrive at getting this error message?
What exactly are you doing or attempting to do when it turns up.
