Error Message

I frequently receive a message stating that "A problem
was encountered with internet explorer and the system
needs to be shut down" The words may not be exactly as I
have written, but it gets very frustrating. I've tried
to download Internet Explorer, hoping that it would
overwrite any problem, but no luck. Can you help me?
