Error Message

When selecting a link on a web page that goes to an email
address, I receive the below error message...

Could not perform this operation because the default mail
client is not properly installed.

My default email is Outlook 2000 and it is listed that way
under Internet Options.

Where else can I look or does anyone have a fix for this?

To set Outlook 98, 2000 or 2002(XP) as the default mail client,- Go to
Start, Run - Type in the following with quotation marks and press ok
"C:\program files\microsoft office\office\outlook.exe" /checkclient
