error message

All of a sudden whenever I leave mie and go back to my
desktop I get the message "Microsoft Internet Explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to close". It gives the
option of sending a report to microsoft, which I do but
the problem persists.
Is it something I've done?

Hi Kurt,

Here is a link you could get from running a query in the Microsoft Technet

Here's the master link (which you ought to bookmark for future

The menus on the left categorize by subject, and the search tool on the
upper left is helpful as well (especially if you use the advanced options)

Believe it or not, many times issues like you report can be resolved simply
by deleting the Temporary Internet files.
(in IE, click Tools, then Internet Options, then Delete Files)

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
