I can connect remotely to my pc when I am at the office,
but from home (with the same laptop) I get the following
message:

The client could not connect to the remote computer.
Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer
might be too busy to accept new connections. It is also
possible that network problems are preventing your
connection. Please try your connection again later. If
the problem continues to occur, contact your
administrator.

Any suggestions?

thanks

If your work PC is behind a firewall, you will need to have the network
admin allow connections to your computer from the internet.

Port 3389 will need to get opened/forwarded to your computer.

When you are at the office the firewall usually does not block ports
internally from passing, but blocks traffic to and from the internet.
