I've installed a Peak DVB-T Digital TV USB stick on a computer running
Windows XP home. I'm getting the error message "Cannot render MPEG2 Dumux
filter". What do I have to do to get round this problem please?

Trawling through the web I found the advice to "check there is a file
mpg2splt.ax in the Windows system32 folder and run regsvr32 on it". That
file doesn't exist and, if it did, I don't understand the instruction.

Thanks.

With any new hardware install errors. you first need to check with the
hardware device manufacturer first. You might have better luck with
them.

Also, you might want to locate and install a "mega" codec packs, since
you might be missing some required ones.

Did you follow the instructions ? There is a CD, with driver file and
some kind of application. Did either of those pieces of software
declare a problem ? (Maybe if they're not Installshield, you can
look at the files included, for a hint of what it is installing.)
