Can anyone decipher this error message,it occurs while trying to remove

Since you haven't described what you were uninstalling then the only advice I
can give is:
If you are trying to uninstall an older application, such as a game, the
setup program of that older application may have used an older version of
install which could very well result that the uninstall process was not
complete. Go to Google or Yahoo and look for software that will uninstall the
remaining files of the old application/programs.
