When sending an email to a distribution list I get the following error
message: "no transport provider was available for this recepient" All the
emails in my list get this message, none of the emails are sent.

It worked fine in the past. The only thing that I changed was that I
deleted my Incredimail software because it was getting to be annoying. What
do I do to correct this problem. I am using windows 2000 service pack 4.
Thanks

Insufficient information. Outlook version, information store, default mail
account type, how you are sending the message and what type of electronic
addresses the DL contains would be in play. Your OS is not.

Hi Russ

I am using Microsoft Office 2000 Professional. Where do I find "information
store", default mail account type"?

I'm not sure what you mean by "how are you sending the message" How do I
find this out? "What type of electronic addresses the DL contains"? How do I
find out these answers?

Not that advanced,
Steve

If you are using a version that many years out of support, a more important
question supercedes the rest. Which version of Outlook 2000 are you using?
Internet Mail Only or Corp/Workgroup?

A friend suggested to recreate the DL. We did a two person list just to test
and it worked fine. Thanks for your time.
