And this is the error message that I keep getting, for the moment:

Error desconocido. Protocolo: SMTP, Puerto: 0, Seguridad (SSL): No, Número
de error: 0x800C0148

Avast email scanning not installed, connection directly with a server, no
messages stuck, Windows Defender says that everything is fine, SpyBoaster
does not help

Port 0 is seldom the right port number. Check with your internet provider
on what server names to use, what port numbers, and whether to use SSL.
 
Something is messing with your account parameters since "Puerto: 0"
is obviously wrong. I recommend you uninstall all third party security
software, then delete your corrupted mail account, restart Windows
Mail, and recreate that mail account.
